Emergency Stress Pit Stop
Next Cohort Starts in September 2021
A flexible, discreet online coaching program for law enforcement, military, first responders, and anyone who has previously worked in any of those professions.
This online program is a combination of video instruction & education by police stress expert Ginny McKenna, and intensive, reflective tasks.
The learner is expected to actively examine their current responses, both physical and emotional, to challenging situations, to then identify patterns and constructive steps to improve and adjust current ways of dealing with them.
The program will guide the learner through this process, which is expected to take a number of weeks. This course is only suitable for individuals who understand that it is up to them to 'put in the work' and genuinely complete all the tasks and exercises.
Just like in sport, it is you who has to put in the reps an get your muscles and joints moving. Emergency Stress Pit Stop leads you through this process of understanding your current responses to stress and pressure, be it from work or your personal life, and helps you develop the tools you need to be able to reduce your stress response, maintain a cool head during heated situations, and ease all the symptoms of pressure, overwhelm, anxiety and depression.
This program is suitable both for those who want to build up resilience and coping mechanisms to what they do or will encounter regularly in their work life, as well as for those who already experience the strain of stress and feel overpowered by their emotional, physical and mental responses to critical and demanding work situations and conditions.
Emergency Stress Pit Stop
You can’t do what you need to do when the tank is empty

Working for the police exposes you to incidents and events that the average person cannot even comprehend. It’s estimated that frontline police will experience anywhere between 300-600 critical incidents during their working life. The average member of the public will experience between 3-6 in their entire life.
How can you help others when you're the one unwilling to get help?
Over time, those incidents may contribute to your natural coping strategies becoming overwhelmed, preventing you from performing at your best.
In the interest of keeping others safe, it is vital to make sure that you are personally fit and healthy to do so.

If you want someone who's walked in your police boots to support you on your way out of stress in your job and in your life, you've found the right person.
